Tina Thompson poured in 11 of her 24 points
in the fourth quarter and pulled down eight rebounds as the Los Angeles Sparks
beat the Minnesota Lynx, 71-58, for their first set of back-to-back wins this
season.
Noelle Quinn added 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists for the Sparks,
who also received 12 points from Marie Ferdinand-Harris.
Monica Wright and Lindsay Whalen each scored 12 for Minnesota, which has lost
four in a row.
